Terms of Service
Last updated: March 2026. These Terms of Service govern your use of the Juvelle mobile application and related services.
Important
Juvelle provides nutritional information and meal planning tools for informational purposes only. Juvelle is not a medical service and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider before making significant dietary changes, especially for children, pregnant or nursing individuals, or individuals with health conditions. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of information provided by Juvelle.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to create a Juvelle account. By creating an account, you confirm that you are 18 or older. Users may add household members of any age, including children under 13, subject to the COPPA protections described in our COPPA Notice and Privacy Policy.
Account Responsibilities
When you create a Juvelle account, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information about yourself and your household members
- Keep your login credentials secure and not share them with others
- Take responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account
- Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access to your account
Subscription Terms
Juvelle offers two subscription tiers:
- Free: Access to core meal planning features at no cost
- Premium: Full access to all features, including advanced AI meal planning, unlimited household members, and grocery list integrations
Premium subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store via RevenueCat. Current pricing is displayed in the app and at juvelle.app/pricing. Both annual and monthly billing options are available.
Cancellation: You can cancel your subscription at any time through your App Store or Google Play settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain Premium access until your paid period expires.
Refunds: Refund policies are governed by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store terms. Contact the respective store for refund requests.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse Juvelle. Prohibited activities include:
- Reverse engineering, decompiling, or disassembling the app
- Scraping or automated data collection from the service
- Sharing your login credentials with others or creating accounts on behalf of others
- Impersonating another person or entity
- Submitting harmful, false, or misleading content
- Attempting to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or systems
Intellectual Property
Juvelle and its licensors own all content, features, and functionality of the service, including AI-generated meal plans, branding, and user interface elements. You may not copy, modify, or distribute Juvelle's proprietary content without our written permission.
You retain ownership of the personal data you provide to Juvelle, including your household information and health data.
Limitation of Liability
Juvelle is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Juvelle is not liable for:
- Any dietary outcomes or health impacts resulting from your use of the service
- Interruptions, errors, or data loss caused by third-party services (App Store, Google Play, Supabase, etc.)
- Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service
Account Termination
Juvelle may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms of Service. You may delete your account at any time through the app settings. Upon termination, your personal data will be deleted according to the schedule described in our Privacy Policy.
Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of [to be confirmed], United States. Any disputes arising from these terms will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
